Meet Suzanne Soliman, BCMAS And PharmD With Industrial Contributions

The achievements of pharmacist Suzanne Soliman include media appearances, multiple awards as well as numerous published presentations, articles and podcasts. Suzanne has already contributed much to the pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, it would be appropriate to say that Suzanne is among the US’s most impactful female pharmacists.

She now serves as the CAO (Chief Academic Officer) for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs. For your information, the ACMA is an organization for people to develop and be certified medical science liaisons and medical affairs professionals. In her position at the ACMA, Suzanne performs at such a level that other pharmacists may want to accomplish for the positive future of international healthcare.

Suzanne’s executive-level role at the ACMA offered her the opportunity to speak before professionals who practice in the life sciences industry and healthcare industry across over 75 countries. Suzanne has presented information associated with the pharmaceutical industry at an international level as well. She shares what she knows regarding pharmacy, women’s health, parenting and social media-related issues on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.

She also makes presentations regarding pharmacy, work, motherhood and women leaders. Suzanne was a keynote public speaker for the past few editions of the annual Connecticut Pharmacist Association Meeting, the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Asembia Conference, and 2019’s McKesson IdeaShare Conference. Suzanne was also part of a recent TEDx event where people talked about the pharmaceutical industry and its future. She also acts as a host for a podcast entitled Women in Pharmacy, where she discusses matters regarding her profession with other pharmacists.

In early 2017, Suzanne founded an organization known as Pharmacist Moms Group to further champion the position of women who are part of this industry. There are over 35,000 active participating members at PhMG, which causes it to be one of America’s largest female pharmacist groups. The members help each other at a personal and professional level as well as champion women’s place in the said industry.

Suzanne dedicated much time and other resources just for the sake of not only the pharmaceutical industry but also health care. Therefore, she was conferred with the so-called Civic Leadership Award in the recent past. Her 2019 paper about the advancement and documentation of pharma education, featured in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, also earned Suzanne the Rufus A. Lyman Award.

Suzanne worked in the capacity of a journal reviewer and medical expert, an acknowledgment of her expertise in writing medical journals. To be more specific, she has made contributions to the journals Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning as well as Annals of Pharmacotherapy.

Suzanne is putting her resources into the foreseeable future of this industry as well. She provides scholarships for UIC College of Pharmacy students. She also holds career awareness activities for people who are keen on science, technology, engineering and mathematics as well as pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry. Through her industrial contributions, Suzanne has shown that women possess the skills and personality required to be increasingly successful if given an opportunity.
